Dunnington Fayre Open 10km
A warm and muggy day for this popular event !
Nick Kilner of York C I U led from the start and looked assured of an easy win before succumbing to injury around the halfway mark, leaving Dennis Jackson (pictured) to take the win in his usual immaculate style. The rest of the field (including welcome visitors in RWA President and Chairman Eric Horwill and Glyn Jones respectively) battled gamely in the conditions.
Thanks are due to Roy Thorpe, and to John and Maureen Grayson for organising this with a new circuit and once again prizes for all.
